My mom is proud of me! I’m so thankful that she shares my work with her work friends and that her friend Allison chose me for her annual family photos! Every year, she gets a photo session for Mother’s Day, and she, her husband Joe, and their son Jackson have taken photos everywhere from the beach to the snow as they’ve moved around for school and work. They’re new to Augusta, and Hammond’s Ferry was the perfect location to add a springtime session on the river to their collection. Aren’t they a precious family?!
Jackson enjoyed throwing sticks and rocks into the water and running around to explore–he seems like such a good kid! Allison and Joe are clearly raising him right, and I know they’re proud because earlier in the day he earned his orange belt in karate! What a day!
My favorite!! Jackson was all about those snuggles and kisses! Allison and Joe are both super smart and work hard during the week, so weekends together are extra special for these three!
I highly recommend family sessions at the river because it offers countless opportunities to pretend to throw each other into the water. We had so much fun with silly and sweet photos out on this little dock, and Jackson chose the spot for the last photo of the day!
I love going to Hammond’s Ferry because I see old friends left and right, and my parents are nearby *just in case* I lock my keys in my car. It was so lovely meeting my mom’s friend and her family and spending the afternoon with them in this beautiful neighborhood. I can’t wait to watch them grow over many future Mother’s Days! Thank you, McMullens!!
