Hotel Domestique Elopement|Travelers Rest, SC|Ethan+Aryonna

Ethan and Aryonna dated for a long time but planned their wedding in a short time. They were on the books for a big wedding in Charleston this September, but the details became overwhelming, so they decided to focus on their love for each other and elope at Hotel Domestique on July 1st at a week’s notice! It was the best decision–can you believe how beautiful this place is?

Aryonna bought her dress at a consignment shop in Charleston {and it fit her perfectly right off the rack like Cinderella} and wore it with hot pink Sam Edelman heels, an heirloom “something old” bracelet, and the coolest rose gold rings I’ve ever seen!

It rained for good luck during the ceremony, so Ethan and Aryonna, joined by a few family members, read their vows on the covered patio with the mountains in the background. I didn’t have much time to get to know them, but I know they’re so much fun! They laughed and danced their hands around during the ceremony and high-fived at the end! Fun fact–Ethan played baseball and was number 17, so as her “something blue” Aryonna tucked a blue number 17 under the edge of her dress.

Ethan’s family has become Aryonna’s family, and it was so sweet seeing them all together! I love it when all the wedding guests can fit in the same photo! It’s so special and intimate for those that are there. Ethan’s mom Joni worked so hard to plan the wedding in a week, and she MADE that gorgeous veil.

Have you seen a more stunning bride or a groom with a happier smile? The big beautiful bouquet and Ethan’s boutonniere are from Twigs.

The rain cleared up the minute the ceremony was over and revealed the sunniest sky just in time for portraits! They’re just so happy! {even while accidentally locked outside on the tiny balcony} Such a sweet couple!

The newlyweds and family made their way to Hotel Domestique’s restaurant, Restaurant 17, for a super fancy dinner to celebrate. It’s been rumored that the salad tasted like grass, but it was super pretty! Plus, what salad doesn’t taste like grass? I laughed so hard at all their jokes and craziness as they ate and relaxed in the fact that they were finally married. Everything looked so good that Tucker and I are going to give the restaurant a try for our anniversary next week! {and we just can’t wait to sit in those surprisingly comfortable orange chairs again}

Congratulations, Ethan and Aryonna! I can’t thank you enough for *almost blindly*  trusting me to be part of your special day! It was such a joy to see you two become one and share in your happiness and laughter! I so appreciate your kindness to me, from bearing with me when I was sick to the sweet notes and reviews. Your little wedding was beautiful, and I’m so happy for you two.

Thanks also to Tammy for the referral–you’re the best!–and to Hotel Domestique for offering up the space for these two lovebirds to have their ceremony!
